Josh Zapor is a teacher and freelance musician in the Metro Detroit area with over 10 years of experience in trumpet instruction. He has a bachelors degree in music education from Central Michigan University where he studied trumpet with Dr. Dennis Horton, and Jazz trumpet with Rob Smith. He played in many ensembles at CMU including the top jazz band, Jazz Lab One. He teaches marching band, and trumpet clinics at many schools in the area, and currently is the Jazz Band Instructor at L'Anse Creuse Middle School Central. He's comfortable teaching and performing all styles of music. He lives happily in Romulus Michigan with his wife Andrea, and 2 dogs.
