Meet Franklin! Franklin's musical start began on the clarinet, and since then he's added playing the bass clarinet, contra bass clarinet, and tenor sax to his school band repertoire! He also plays the guitar and piano. Franklin's life is filled with music, aside from playing instruments, he takes part in musical theatre. We love seeing how much music means to him!
Meet Mr. Remy!
Meet Mr. Remy! Mr. Remy plays the trombone. He's been been teaching private lessons here for over 10 years, and has over 40 years of music education experience. He plays with the Warren Concert Band and has been a long time professional musician in several local groups. Mr. Remy is a music maker through and through!
Meet Aubrey!
Meet Aubrey! Aubrey plays the flute, and has been since the 5th grade. She attends Warren Mott and Macomb Mathematics Science Technology Center. She takes part in Varsity Marching Band, Cadet Band, and the DSO Youth Ensemble! Music is a big part of Aubrey's life, instrumentally and through dance too!
Meet Jordan!
Meet Jordan! He has played alto saxophone for seven years. Jordan attends Wayne State University, and he's majoring in Saxophone Performance. We've had the pleasure of knowing Jordan for two years as he started lessons here in 2014. His participation in District 16's MSBOA Honors Band is what solidified his decision to major in music, and even possibly become a full time musician!
Meet Denise!
Meet Denise! Denise plays the bass clarinet and the tenor saxophone! She began playing the clarinet in fifth grade and soon started on the bass clarinet. When she got to high school at Fitzgerald, she also began playing the tenor saxophone. She's involved in the Oakland, Wayne, and MSBOA Honors Bands. Denise loves how music allows you to express yourself, and we agree!
