Meet Denise!

Meet Denise! Denise plays the bass clarinet and the tenor saxophone! She began playing the clarinet in fifth grade and soon started on the bass clarinet. When she got to high school at Fitzgerald, she also began playing the tenor saxophone. She's involved in the Oakland, Wayne, and MSBOA Honors Bands. Denise loves how music allows you to express yourself, and we agree!

Musicians Are Everywhere!

A kid with a music degree isn't limited to a performance or teaching career. Musicians are everywhere. We are project managers, marketers, finance folks, IT people and engineers. In my twenty-some years as a corporate HR person, I was always impressed by the way musical people excelled at logic and non-linear thinking, both.
